USDM OBD1 Socket Kit

This DIY socket kit includes everything you need to socket your OBD1 Honda/Acura ECU, allowing you to install and swap EEPROM chips or emulators for tuning. Ideal for enthusiasts who want to perform their own ECU modifications at home.

• 28‑pin socket (your choice of style)
• 4‑pin CN2 datalog header
• 1.2kΩ resistor
• IC latch (74HC373)
• 2× 0.1µF ceramic capacitors (C51 and C52)

Socket Style Options

Choose the socket style that best fits your setup:

• Machine Socket – Common for emulator boards (CobraRTP, Demon2, & more)
• Leaf Socket – Works with standard EEPROM chips (commonly used for basic tunes)
• Header – Required for Hondata S300v3 and similar boards that use pin headers
• ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) Socket – Ideal for frequent chip swapping without wear
