In series production, the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory KG features excessive rebound damping in the rear shock. The Wilbers shock optimizes both rebound and compression and offers a wider adjustment range than the stock unit, delivering clearly improved handling and increased safety.

Our racing team’s development work flows directly into the shock’s individual setup — you receive a genuine race-replica configuration. The fork is supplied with linear springs ex-works; the Wilbers solution also uses linear springs but with rate options matched to rider weight, intended use, and (for track use) prevailing conditions. Depending on usage, we recommend SAE 5 or GP5 fork oil; with the Wilbers conversion, negative spring travel and response are optimized accordingly.

Swiveling, diagonally mounted compression reservoir.
For tight installations, the reservoir mounts diagonally and swivels for optimal routing. A milled upper mount integrates the high- and low-speed compression adjusters; both compression and rebound feature 22 clicks. A pressure-control valve prevents hydraulic blocking and harsh impacts. Spring preload is continuously adjustable by hook spanner or optionally hydraulically. The reservoir angle can be re-indexed later by a trained Wilbers partner.
