As standard, the shock’s spring is too stiff and wound progressively, causing the second, much harder rate to be reached too quickly. Our suspension modification improves fork response and overall comfort. The stock setup also offers very little negative spring travel; we build our shocks 7 mm longer to achieve proper negative travel while preserving the original seat height.
