After the success of our previous Ford RS, Toyota GR, and Honda Type R direct-fit oil cooler kits, we knew we had to get one in the workshop. Our goal was simple; to design and manufacture\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003euser-friendly\u003c\/b\u003e, easy-to-install kits that require either\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003eno\u003c\/b\u003e, or\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003every little\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003emodifications.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front end of the BRZ was removed to give our development team full access to the new external oil cooler mounting position and to plan the routing for the braided hoses. This also allowed for the design and fabrication of any custom bracketry needed for a precise fit. To ensure a\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003eperfect fitment\u003c\/b\u003e, we\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003e3D laser scanned\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ethe front of the engine bay and ancillaries. Once an oil cooler bracket was designed using the threaded ports located on the factory bumper support, we tested a 3D-printed prototype and then manufactured the final aluminium version. All HEL direct-fitting oil cooler brackets are laser cut, precision folded, and powdercoated in Black to result in a\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cb\u003estealthy\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003efinish.
